LIFESTYLE COLLEGE BACKGROUND

Lifestyle College is a BBBEE company owned by Managing Director Mr. Andries Maphala who holds a degree in Labour Relations. He decided to change careers many years ago and joined the Lifestyle College family. Since joining, the College has blossomed in providing quality training and education.


His goal of remaining one of the best professional service providers is what drives Mr. Maphala to achieve excellence within the Lifestyle College. After humble beginnings under a tree, the College has grown to a fully-fledged Private Provider of Education and Training with amazing facilities situated on the premises of Lifestyle home garden.

Melanie Walker

Melanie started studying at Lifestyle College in 2004 and graduated in 2008 as a Landscape Designer. Previously a TV personality, Melanie took up the role of the gardening editor for the Garden and Home Magazine.

After a few years her love for radio and TV was revived. Melanie’s popular radio gardening program can be heard on SAFM weekly. The Home Channel then approached Melanie to do several series of Design a Garden for DSTV. The success of the series led to the series called Gardening 101. Melanie is also chairperson of the Lifestyle Garden Club that has a membership of approximately 100 members.

Priscilla Banda

Priscilla started studying at Lifestyle College in 2004 and graduated in 2006 as a Landscape Designer. Priscilla has established a successful Landscaping company called Green Dimensions. As a renowned designer Priscilla has won several awards for her designs. Priscilla has an international company that expands across our borders and has done several large projects in different countries.
